For Cléa Vincent, music is about the instrument - she’s been playing keyboards since as long as anyone at her music school can remember. It’s also about her direct and assertive style, which has won over fans through a number of pop hits distilled into two Eps (Non mais oui 1 and 2) and in her first album, Retiens mon désir (2016). Finally, it’s about teamwork - including the song writing partnership she has formed with Raphael Léger (Tahiti 80) and her collaboration with sound engineer Clément Roussel for her next album.

“Lili”, like the opening up of a caress; “Poe” like a jarring slap in the face: this is the type of lyrical “butterfly effect” that sticks in the memory, just like its namesake. This artist from Aix-en-Provence unveils Amours fragiles - her first album, which seems to be guiding French song writing into a new era: one that is epic, melancholy, warlike and delicate all at the same time, and whose contours and core values have been shaped over the course of her many adventures.

Le 8 mars dernier Barbara Pravi rend hommage aux femmes au travers d'une réécriture de “ Notes pour trop tard ” en mashup avec un de ses titres, le Malamour. ( Tous les droits de la version intégrale sont reversés à La Maison des Femmes). Avec des mélodies entêtantes portées par une voix hors du temps, Barbara Pravi remet la chanson française à l’ordre du jour.

Dune

Anja is all about the voice: she’s been singing, creating and writing songs since she was a child. Her dreamlike world is hers alone - in her lyrics, she drifts between melancholy and transformation, between the deeper essence of things and their fragilities, and probing questions about modern society. The project is overseen by Thomas, who also plays all the instruments; brought up surrounded by jazz, he later became a fan of machines and synth music, and started producing electronic sounds. Together the duo are two intertwining forces, and a reflection of our times: a society looking for meaning amid the whirlwind of technological change.

From the melancholy vibe of her early lyrics, laid over joyous yet serene melodies, emerges a lighter, more rhythmic and dance-friendly style of music blended with a unique electro-pop vibe. Everything is created simultaneously - melody, lyrics, and production. Laurie Darmon discovered in herself a woman who was profoundly free and independent, yet imprisoned and held back by traditional conventions, exploding on the inside. With all of these conventions stripped away, she found the freedom to live and a dazzling creativity within her grasp.

Claire Laffut & Yseult

Sharp, groovy, surprising, modern and instantly catchy, her music is fuelled by emotional resonances, happy accidents, and mashups of ideas, sounds and memories. The result of a close-knit collaboration with producer and multi-instrumentalist Tristan Salvati, it has the clarity of pop while also dipping into soul, jazz, reggae and bossa nova. Although it was by accident and chance meetings that Claire Laffut came to singing and music - although in her case, nothing really happens by accident - the young girl who was obsessed with Sade, King Krule, Frank Ocea, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse is never afraid to take risks and push new boundaries.

Yseult is one of the key new-generation artists, launching her own style which she terms “Y-trap” - a mix of Trap and Pop, blending soaring atmospheric tones with a raw lyrical style. Her hybrid, atypical style and phrasing has been developed over the course of multiple collaborations with artists from France and abroad, including The Black Eyed Peas, Jenifer and Chimène Badi. With her tenacious, relentless work and these high-profile collaborations, unique and eclectic Y has proven her ability to work across a broad range of musical horizons, galvanising the talent formed from the mutation of two musical worlds: Pop and Trap.

At the age of 15, she was given a synthesiser for her birthday - one she still uses and on which she would write her first songs. With a strong attachment to her home, she waited longer than most to leave the south of France to come to Paris. Her arrival in the capital brought a mix of euphoria and nostalgia; moments of inspiration where her music could serve as an outlet.

Dismaze

Incarné par Léa Moreau et Akemi Fujimori, le duo français DISMAZE fait ses premiers pas sur la scène electro indé en 2018 avec deux EPs, “animals” et “people”, suivis d'une collaboration vidéo avec le photographe Frédéric Jacquet pour les clips des titres “Octopus” et “Human Sense”.
Dans les chansons qu’elles écrivent et produisent, elles entrelacent leurs voix d’une myriade de sons organiques et synthétiques, nous révélant un labyrinthe texturé entre chants envoûtants et rythmes dansants. Suite à la sélection de leur musique pour la 20e édition de la Red Bull Music Academy à Berlin, leur univers fut noté pour son “amour aussi bien de la technique formelle que de la réinvention cosmique, dans des harmonies vocales riches et cristallines accompagnées de beats ciselés et d’accords vibrants.

Né d'un père coutelier et d'une mère tapissière, Paul Nox évolue dans l'artisanat d'art depuis ses premiers pas.
Nourri d'une multitude d'influences allant de l'underground américain au pointillisme en passant par la typographie, le tatouage ou encore les poteries romaines, Paul Nox puise son inspiration dans les styles qu'il croise.
Il expérimente, tel un artisan, des techniques et des esthétismes. Ses créations allient simplicité des formes, vivacité des couleurs et géométrie des lignes pour délivrer un message clair.
Son univers Art Déco a séduit de nombreuses institutions (Sergeant Paper, Orange, Louis Vuitton ou encore Molitor).
